Frequently asked questions

Is Tappo Tree Co. licensed and bonded?

Yes, we are fully licensed, bonded, and insured. Please look us up on the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries website. Our bond # is TAPPOTC757KT. Don't put yourself at risk by hiring a tree service that is not fully bonded and insured.

When is that best time to trim my tree?

You can trim and structurally prune most trees throughout the year without shocking them. However, birch, ash, and oak trees MUST wait to be trimmed during the fall to early springtime. We recommend trimming, shaping, and lowering arbovitae during the spring and fall months as well.

How much does it cost to have a tree trimmed or removed?

Depends on the desired services. When it comes to tree trimming and removal jobs, we have price tiers (see tree services page). We can tailor the level of service to fit your budget. We consider a risk assessment when quoting each job and always offer free estimates.

Can Tappo Tree Co. fit in tight spaces? What if a tree is really close to a house?

Yes, Tappo Tree Co. specializes in tree work in tight spaces. Our crew uses ropes to safely rig and lower down heavy branches. We take special care when lowering each branch down. We are also fully licenced, bonded, and insured, creating peace of mind for our customers.

Does Tappo Tree Co. do shrubs and arbovitae?

Yes, Tappo Tree Co. offers everything from large shrub removal to routine arborvitae shaping and cleanouts. Call us for your free estimate!
